Some of you have gathered that I’ve had some struggles lately.
My MCAS reactivated back in May, and that brought brain fog and a few other issues.
My nutrition, supplements, and peptides are all dialed in, so it’s not for lack of trying.
Still, I’ve been dealing with word recall problems, slower speech flow, and that fuzzy feeling like you’ve got clouds in your brain.
You know the one (hopefully you do)… or maybe I’m just one step away from a full meltdown, lol.
The Thought That Started It All
A few weeks back, I wrote about the Billionaire Stack the quiet performance secret some top people use to stay razor-sharp.
I’m convinced a big part of that edge is mitochondrial in nature.
So I thought: what if I gave my mitochondria a wake-up call?
What if I squirted a little SS-31 up the ol’ breathing pipes and said “peekaboo” to my brain cells? Surely it sounds like a SOLID plan to me.
The First Test
I started low, around 50 mcg.
Didn’t feel much.
So I added two more squirts, up to 150 mcg total that day and boom,
I could feel it. Houston we have regained control of the jet engines.
Subtle, but sharp.
You know those Roborock vacuum robots? When you power one on, it says “TURNING ON.”
That’s exactly what it felt like, as if a part of my brain I’d lost access to suddenly reconnected. I mean don’t imagine full on limitless movie, but clearly noticeable.
The Enthusiastic Mistake
Of course, the next day, being the over-enthusiastic man-child that I am, I went for six squirts.
Because if 150 mcg is good, then 300 mcg must be better, right?
Well… not quite.
That run gave me a mild headache for a couple of hours, though the cognitive clarity was still there. But sort of hard to get things done when your skull is pounding.
Lesson learned: more isn’t always more better. Yes i spelled it that way on purpose ;)
Where I’m Going From Here
My plan is to keep experimenting every other day with around 150-200 mcg, similar to what I mentioned in the Billionaire Stack.
It is very important with peptides in general to find your unique dose, custom tailored to you specifically not what you hear others are doing, you are unique ;)
BUT:
If you eat oxidized seed oils or processed foods, your cell membranes might be leakier which could mean more side effects.
My hypothesis: pair SS-31 with mitochondrial optimizers (CoQ10, PQQ, l-carnitine, PC lipids etc.) for smoother results.

Final Thoughts
